Η πρωτοβάθμια φροντίδα υγείας στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και στην Ελλάδα : το παράδειγμα του δήμου Κύμης-Αλιβερίου Ευβοίας

Abstract

The subject dealt with in this project is Primary Health Care (PHC), that is, the first level of individual, family and community contact with the National Health System. Throughout periods many attempts of improvement-upgrading of PHC have been made as it is an integral part not only of a National Health System but also of a general social-economic structure.The study of PHC is conducted in the framework of EU and Greece through Health Policies which where or have been pursued until today. In addition, the project studies the public’s outlook on the subject of PHC and more particularly the views and beliefs of the inhabitants and doctors of a specific municipality, the Municipality of Kymi-Aliveri on that major subject.Consequently, the aim of this project consists in the search of the outlooks and views of the inhabitants and doctors of the Municipality of Kymi-Aliveri on the satisfaction, efficiency and trust that possibly derives from public PHC bodies in the area so that it will be understandable whether the inhabitants in question consider the provided PHC by the municipality effective or ineffective.Methodologically the subject for perusal is searched through the review of the Greek but also foreign language bibliography, as well as the retrieval of relevant to the subject information through the electronic bibliography. However, it will also be undertaken to investigate the views of the inhabitants and the doctors of the Municipality of Kymi-Aliveri on the PHC through conducting quality search.
