Το ζήτημα της φύσης στα οικονομικά και φιλοσοφικά χειρόγραφα

Abstract

Η παρούσα εργασία στόχο έχει να μελετήσει το ζήτημα της σχέσης ανάμεσα στην φύση και τον άνθρωπο, έτσι όπως αυτή σκιαγραφείται στα Οικονομικά και Φιλοσοφικά Χειρόγραφα του Karl Marx. Η μελέτη αυτή, σε μεγάλο βαθμό, θα γίνει μέσα από το βλέμμα της Judith Butler. Το κείμενο που μελετάται παράλληλα είναι αυτό της Aμερικανίδας φιλοσόφου με τίτλο The inorganic body in the early Marx: A limit-concept of anthropocentrism δημοσιευμένο το 2019. Κατά τη μελέτη ωστόσο του άρθρου της Butler, παρατηρήθηκε ότι το ίδιο εντάσσεται ως προς τη θεματολογία του και ως προς τους στόχους του σε ένα πλαίσιο ακαδημαϊκών συζητήσεων που πραγματοποιήθηκαν κατά τις δεκαετίες 1970 και 1980, εντός των μαρξιστικών κυρίως κύκλων. Υπό αυτό το πρίσμα, το άρθρο της Butler θα εξακολουθήσει να είναι σημείο αναφοράς, ωστόσο, οι θεματικές που κυρίως η ίδια εγείρει, σκεπτόμενη το μαρξικό κείμενο, θα εμπλουτιστούν με τις ιδέες επιπλέον μελετητών των Χειρογράφων. Με δεδομένη επομένως την παραπάνω θεματολογία, ακολουθώντας την πορεία των εννοιών σε αυτές τις τρεις χρονικές στιγμές,στόχος της παρούσας εργασίας είναι, στο μέτρο του δυνατού, να απαντήσει στο ερώτημα το οποίο θέτει και η ίδια η Butler. Αν, δηλαδή, δύναται το μαρξικό κείμενο να αποτελέσει πηγή έμπνευσης και δημιουργικό υλικό, ικανό να κλονίσει ορισμένες παγιωμένες και επιζήμιες για την πρόσληψη της φύσης ιδέες.

The present paper aims to study the question of the relationship between nature and human beings, as outlined in Karl Marx's Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts. This study will, mainly, be conducted through the lens of Judith Butler and the text studied in parallel is that of the American philosopher entitled The inorganic body in early Marx: A limit-concept of anthropocentrism published in 2019. However, the study of Butler's article resulted in the observation that the article itself fits, in terms of its concerns and its aims, into a context of academic debates that took place in the 1970s and 1980s, mainly within Marxist academic circles. In light of this, Butler's article will continue to be a point of reference despite the fact that the themes she mainly raises in thinking about the Marxian text will be enriched by the ideas of additional scholars who studied the Manuscripts. Given the afore-mentioned themes, the aim of this paper is to answer, to the greatest degree possible, the question that Butler herself poses; whether the Marxian text can be a source of inspiration and creative material capable of shaking certain ingrained and detrimental ideas about the human perception of nature.
