Η «Επιτροπή Διαφώτισης» του ΚΚΕ και η ελληνική πεζογραφία στις Λαϊκές Δημοκρατίες (1949-1954)

Abstract

Η παρούσα εργασία διερευνά τον ρόλο που διαδραμάτισαν η Επιτροπή Διαφώτισης του ΚΚΕ και ο Λογοτεχνικός Κύκλος στον έλεγχο της λογοτεχνικής παραγωγής των ελλήνων πολιτικών προσφύγων στις Λαϊκές Δημοκρατίες κατά το χρονικό διάστημα 1949-1954. Παρουσιάζεται ο κατάλογος των λογοτεχνικών εκδόσεων του Εκδοτικού «Νέα Ελλάδα», όπως διασώζεται στο Αρχείο Επιτροπής Διαφώτισης ΚΚΕ, και μελετάται η επίδραση του δόγματος του σοσιαλιστικού ρεαλισμού στην εν λόγω παραγωγή, η πρόσληψη της ελληνικής λογοτεχνικής παράδοσης και της Γενιάς του ’30 από τους διανοούμενους πολιτικούς πρόσφυγες, καθώς και τα βασικά μοτίβα που διακρίνονται στα μυθιστορήματα της υπερορίας. Παράλληλα, σχολιάζονται πολιτικά και αισθητικά σφάλματα που επισημαίνει η Επιτροπή Διαφώτισης και αναδύονται ιεραρχίες που διαρθρώνονται στο λογοτεχνικό πεδίο της υπερορίας, όπως και διαφωνίες ή αντιθέσεις που αποτυπώνονται τόσο στην αλληλογραφία μεταξύ των διανοουμένων όσο και στην αρθρογραφία του περιοδικού Νέος Κόσμος.

This thesis explores the role played by the “Enlightenment Committee” and the Literary Circle of Communist Party of Greece (KKE) in controlling the literary production of the publishing house “Ekdotiko Nea Ellada” during the period 1949-1954. A list of literary publications, as preserved in the KKE Enlightenment Committee Archive, is presented in the paper, and the effect of socialist realism on this production is studied thoroughly. In addition, the relationship between the intellectuals of the political refugees with the Greek literary tradition and the Interwar generation is also demonstrated, as well as the basic literary patterns that stand out in the novels of the political refugees. At the same time, the thesis includes a commentary on the political and aesthetic errors pointed out to the writers by the Enlightenment Committee, the hierarchies that are structured in the literary field, as well as disagreements or contradictions between intellectuals as they are depicted both in their correspondence and in the Neos Kosmos magazine articles.
