Η αξιολόγηση των βαθμολογικών ορίων

Abstract

Η μεταρρύθμιση των ΑΕΙ δεν είναι απλώς μια τεχνοκρατική υπόθεση. Η περίφημη θεωρία του πίθου των Δαναΐδων για τις επενδύσεις στην εκπαίδευση, δηλαδή ότι αυτές αποτελούν ένα τρύπιο βαρέλι γιατί δεν έχουν οικονομική ανταποδοτικότητα, είναι εσφαλμένη καθώς παραγνωρίζεται η ανταποδοτικότητα των εκπαιδευτικών επενδύσεων στον πολιτισμό, στην κοινωνική συνοχή και ευημερία. Στα πλαίσια της παραπάνω διαπίστωσης εξετάζονται τα ζητήματα ανωτατοποίησης των ΤΕΙ, των βαθμολογικών ορίων στις εισαγωγικές εξετάσεις, της αξιολόγησης των ΑΕΙ και της εκλογής των πανεπιστημιακών οργάνων.

The reform of Higher Education Institutions is not simply a technocratic affair. The invocation of the renowned theory of Danaid’s earthenware jar about investments in education, i.e. that they constitute an empty tub because these investments lack of any economic reciprocity, is false, since it ignores their reciprocity in culture, social cohesion and prosperity. Within the context of the above ascertainment the issues of turning the Polytechnics into Universities, the marking scales in the introductory university examinations, the evaluation of Higher Education Institutions and the election of academic bodies are examined.
