Περίληψη:The present thesis was undertaken to investigate project management and the utilization of information technology, computer science, and communications within a corporate environment. In the first chapter, an analysis of the definition of project management is conducted, specifically addressing the functions of project management, the factors contributing to the success or failure of a project, the stakeholders involved, and the project life cycle. Moving on to the second chapter, the term "information, communication and technologies" (ICT) is explored, providing a historical overview of the evolution of ICT. Additionally, the dominant technologies of the current era and their applications across various domains are discussed. The third chapter covers the research methodology of the specific thesis, while the fourth chapter involves an analysis of the case study, focusing on the company named "Dataphoria." This chapter begins with a historical overview of the company, providing information about its financial performance and growth, methodology, and work tools. Furthermore, it describes the composition of the company's human resources. The fifth chapter delves into the strategic analysis of "Dataphoria," specifically analyzing the external environment through the five factors (Political, Economical, Social, Technological factors) and the internal environment through the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats analysis (S.W.O.T. analysis). Finally, the business model, operational, and business strategy of Dataphoria are outlined. The sixth chapter presents the future goals of the company and draws conclusions based on the findings of this study.
