Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία μελετά τους τρόπους με τους οποίους εντοπίζονται μορφές κανονικοποιήσεων και διερευνά την πιθανότητα ύπαρξης αντιστάσεων σε αυτές σε ΛΟΑΤ(Κ)ΙΑ+ χώρους της Αθήνας με εστίαση στο Athens Pride κατά το έτος 2023. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη την αποριζοσπαστικοποίηση κουήρ κινημάτων και θεσμικών Pride τόσο στην Ελλάδα, όσο και στο εξωτερικό, με την ταυτόχρονη ανάδυση ομοκανονικών και ομοεθνικιστικών πλεγμάτων ως κυρίαρχες εθνικές αφηγήσεις, επιχειρείται να αναζητηθεί στο συγκείμενο της Αθήνας η πιθανότητα ρωγμών και διασαλεύσεων στις προαναφερθείσες νοήσεις. Τα παραπάνω γίνονται αντικείμενο επεξεργασίας μέσω επερωτήσεων σχετικά με έμφυλες επιτελέσεις, σχεσιακότητες και εθνικά ιδεολογήματα. Συγχρόνως, εξετάζονται στα αντίστοιχα πλαίσια οι όψεις κανονικοποίησης που συναντώνται και οι ενδεχόμενες συνδηλώσεις που αυτές φέρουν. Μεθοδολογικά, επιλέγεται η μελέτη σχετικών θεωρητικών και εμπειρικών κειμένων, καθώς και η διεξαγωγή πρωτογενούς ποιοτικής έρευνας με συνδυασμό μεθόδων κατά το διάστημα 2023-2024. Συγκεκριμένα, έλαβαν χώρα έντεκα επισκέψεις επιτόπιας έρευνας στο πεδίο με συμμετοχική και απλή παρατήρηση. Παράλληλα, διενεργήθηκε έρευνα στον λόγο του διαδικτύου και συλλέχθηκαν εικόνες με μία κριτική σκοπιά. Τέλος, πραγματοποιήθηκαν τρεις ημιδομημένες συνεντεύξεις. Η έρευνα υποστηρίζει ότι όψεις κανονικοποιήσεων και οι αντιστάσεις σε αυτές δεν ακολουθούν μία γραμμική πορεία, αλλά αντιθέτως μεταλλάσσονται, συναντώνται και ενδεχομένως εκπλήσσουν.
Abstract:
This thesis studies the ways in which forms of normalization are identified and explores the possibility of the existence of resistance to them in LGBT(Q)IA+ spaces in Athens, with a focus on Athens Pride, 2023. Taking into account the de-radicalization of queer movements and institutional Pride, both in Greece and abroad, with the simultaneous emergence of homonormative and homonationalist grids as dominant national narratives, it attempts to seek in the context of Athens the possibility of cracks and disruptions in the aforementioned norms. The above are elaborated through questions on gendered performances, relationalities and national ideologies, while at the same time the aspects of normalization encountered and the possible connotations they carry are examined in the respective contexts. Methodologically, the study of relevant theoretical and empirical texts is chosen, as well as the conduct of primary qualitative research using a combination of methods between 2023 and 2024. Specifically, eleven fieldwork visits took place in the field using participant and simple observation. In addition, the research included an exploration of internet material engaging with Athens Pride and images were collected from a critical perspective. Finally, three semi-structured interviews were conducted. The research argues that aspects of normalizations and resistances to them do not follow a linear path, but instead change, meet and occasionally unfold surprisingly.
